Prime Day 2025 Deals

Introduction to Prime Day Sales

As shopping editors, we’re often asked: What should I buy on Prime Day? In truth, virtually the entire internet goes on sale during big shopping events like this, as Amazon’s biggest competitors and individual brands also host some of their biggest sales of the year.

Competing Summer Sales

Here’s the schedule for this year’s competing summer sales, often dubbed "anti-Prime Day sales." These sales offer a great opportunity to snag deals from other retailers, giving you more options and potentially better prices.

Walmart Summer Deals

Just like last year, Walmart is hosting its Walmart Deals event, and it’s even longer than the 4-day Prime Day event. The Walmart Deals summer sale will take place from July 8 to 13, with early deals beginning July 7. To take full advantage of the sale, sign up for Walmart+ (yes, there’s a free trial).

Target Circle Week

Target recently announced it will host a Circle Week sale from Sunday, July 6 to Saturday, July 12. This sale is a great chance to stock up on essentials and score discounts on popular items.

The Home Depot Sale

The Home Depot has extended its excellent Fourth of July sale through July 9 this year. Check out our guide to the top savings of the event so far, featuring discounts on home improvement items, tools, and more.

Best Buy Sale

This week, Best Buy kicked off its Black Friday in July sale, which runs from July 7 to 13. Best Buy typically matches Amazon prices on most Apple products, but we’ll note if Best Buy has the better price on any notable products.

Conclusion

Prime Day is a great time to shop, but it’s not the only sale in town. With competing sales from Walmart, Target, The Home Depot, and Best Buy, you have plenty of options to find the best deals on the items you want. Be sure to check out each retailer’s sale to compare prices and find the best bargains. Happy shopping!
